Cat therapist too wishy-washy

| | Comments (0)

With interest, I read this piece about cat behavior, and was both sorry and surprised at the wishy-washy stand of Carole Wilbourn about "declawing" cats. Instead of saying that avoiding it is a good idea, she should have said that it is animal cruelty of the first magnitude for which there is never any justification for inflicting!

You and your readers should know that "declawing" is euphemistic for toe amputation -- and precludes normal feline behaviors from walking, grooming, negotiating and raking litter material -- to kneading and communicating!
