Vandals must pay

I hope the vandals that toppled the tombstones and vandalized the playground equipment don't just get a handslap. It's time the parents and their kids are held responsible. They should be made to pay for the damages by any means possible. Give the kids community service to do. I'm sure the church could use their help next year mowing and triming the cemetery. Maybe then they will learn to respect other people's property, something their parents never taught them.
