Water shortage
Whiskey is for drinking; water is for fighting over." It has been said this can be attributed to Mark Twain.
True or not, it does seem like this is what is happening to some parts of this country when we hear of states suffering with a lack of rain fall. When people in American are suffering, we all suffer.

Why is it that we will do all that is necessary to move gasoline from refineries, to as far possible, only to be sold for profit, and we hear of drought conditions year after year, and do next to nothing.
I wrote before, that we need to take action on using wisely, our water that God has already blessed us with. Let us try to find ways to move it from where it is abundant, to where it is needed. This is America, and I know we can accomplish this with help from God, and the might and will of our people.
We are all connected in regards to this problem when we eat the crops, wear the cotton on our backs, and spend our vacation dollars in these states. They are our fellow Americans, and there is no greater reason to help than that.
If this has to be a grass roots idea from the people, for the people, then so be it. Let the government catch up later. We all have a Roe To Hoe in fixing this problem. Let us try to fill those Rows with water.
