Sensationalism sells papers
I realize the sensationalism the newspaper was going after when it printed the Taylor story as headlines; however, I do think that the paper should have exercised a bit more responsibility by not putting it on the front page. I really wonder if it should have been reported on in such depth at all. It seems to me that the York paper goes after anything that will sell papers.

Before everyone rushes to judgement, I think consideration to be given to the fact that, as sad as the whole case may be, Mrs. Taylor was a consenting individual, and as it was reported in the paper that HE must have known that it could cause death, surely SHE knew it. I live in Windsor, and although I don't personally know the Taylors, I sincerely feel awful for Toby Taylor right now. I do not feel that he should be charged with manslaughter. Believe it or not, people engage in all sorts of acts behind closed doors, some that they would never admit to their friends and neighbors. It is sad that Mrs. Taylor died because of all this, but, apparently, there is an assumed risk when one engages in this type activity.
I am a frequent customer of Subs-N-More in Windsor, and as long as the shop remains open, I will show my support by continuing to be a customer. The Taylors were always such nice people when I would pick up food there, and I honestly hope that Toby Taylor gets a break on this one. I believe that he probably already has suffered enough with the loss of his wife.

Jeannie, if Toby has suffered enough as you say, then why did he lie to the police about what happened? It is sad for both but to be shocking each other for a sick pleasure is not right. They did both hopefully think in their minds that they could get killed but they did not care. I DO think Toby should be charged with manslaughter! They played a sick game and now they are BOTH facing the consequences
I agree with your claim that this paper will print anything. I don't subscribe, simply because of their disgusting bias toward the left. It has gotten way out of hand. They need an overhaul.
