He would never disappoint

I am not interested in the possible improper relationship of John McCain and Vicki Iseman. I do wonder why his wife Cindy would comment publicly about the story. She said in part..."I not only trust my husband but know that he would never do anything to not only disappoint our family, but disappoint the people of America." It was reported that John McCain had an extramarital relationship with her when he was still married to his first wife. That certainly must have been a disappointment to his first wife and their children at that time.
