Kudos to Malkin
It was with great admiration that I read Michelle Malkin's article in the Saturday paper. I hope that people who read it had the same proud feeling that I had. I did resent Mrs.Obama's coment about finally being proud of her country. She who by all standards has led what many many others might not have -- a privileged life.
Is this the mind set for a woman who would like to be First Lady of the country? Again thanks Michelle for your straight forward and brillant comments. Keep up the good work.

Actually, Catherine, Mrs. Obama said that for the first time she was REALLY proud of her country. Until people like you stop intentionally misinterpreting everything anyone on the left says in order to reinforce your position I will remain merely "proud" of my country.
Proud is proud! Please stop this partisan party sniping. That is what is ruining this country
I vote for the candidates and not the spouses, whose views are irrelevant, and who should have no role in official decisions. That's why Hillary is unacceptable to me-- she and Bubba are inseparable. No two-fers unless it's from Domino's.
I nearly puked when I read Malkin's nauseating right-wing apologetics. There's a lot of good things to be content with in America, but real pride in one's country comes from more than seeing a half-witted buffoon strut around an aircraft carrier in a borrowed flight suit.
The Berlin Wall was brought down by the German people. U.S. pressure on the East helped bring it about, but the Germans took the final step.
Our current pResident and the Republican Party are a source of utter shame for this country. The unwarranted intervention of the Supreme Court in the 2000 election, the unwarranted invasion of Iraq, the (literally) unwarranted wiretaps, the illegal Republican break-in to one of the Congressional Democrat computer servers, the dozens of Republican corruption and sex scandals... These things greatly overshadow the good things. It's not easy to feel pride when people like that are feeding at the public trough and funneling billions in tax cuts to corporations and the rich, while the middle class pays 30% credit card interest rates, and can't afford health care or their mortgages.
