Stimulus payment not the answer

| | Comments (0)

I think it's about time to remove crude oil from Wall Street. I also believe it to be time that our current legislators quit lying in bed with "Big Oil." Our pockets are being drained each and everyday by these outrageous prices we pay for a gallon of gasoline so some fat slob can lay claim to who has the biggest yacht.

Why does the price of crude oil keep rising? The answer lies within the scope of misguided fears and distorted truths from our government and media. They will use any excuse to raise the cost of a barrel of oil to make more money. So much for the theory of prices being controlled by supply and demand. A commodity such as crude oil should be regulated since it is essential for our national security. When are our elected officials going to take measures to ensure this nonsense stops?

Each and everyday, American citizens are being forced to decide on putting food on the table or gas in the car. This "economic stimulus" payment is NOT the answer. I'm pretty sure that the oil companies don't pay for their oil according to what it is on Wall Street. There is no doubt that they have a contract set in place. We are being raped and mutilated by corporate greed and our elected officials just stand by and watch, like a bad vehicle accident.
