No proven use for fluoride

| | Comments (1)

I see we have another opinion on fluoride in the drinking water. I sure don't need forced medication of my water although the water at my home has fluoride and I do not drink it.

Fluoride is one of the most toxic substances on earth along with lead and mercury. It is a cumulative poison and only about one half of what is consumed is eliminated. There is no proven use of fluoride in the human body including the teeth.

There are increasing cases of too much fluoride in children causing brittle bones and malformed teeth. Fluoride has a very adverse effect on the thyroid which leads to problems of weight gain, fatigue and exhaustion. The neurotoxin nature of fluoride is linked with IQ deficits and learning disabilities. There are high fluoride levels in toothpaste, mouthwash, processed cereals and sodas.

We got tricked into fluoridation by the government in an effort to dispose of excess fluoride used in making H-bombs and as a byproduct of aluminum production. Previously fluoride was marketed as an insecticide and rat poison and a larger market was desired. There was to be a 10 year test to prove that fluoride in drinking water would reduce cavities but it was never completed and fluoridation was declared a positive health benefit.

There is no proof that fluoride decreases cavities and many municipalities that had previously fluoridated their water supply found that the rate of cavities did not increase after they discontinued fluoride and in some cases they went down. There is increasing demand to discontinue fluoridation and most European countries along with Japan have discontinued fluoridation after studies found it was not safe even at so-called "optimal" levels.
