Conserve! And still pay!
Conserve this, conserve that, be more energy efficient. That's what is being drilled into us in our everyday life. Why. Why bother because we all know we'll pay more in the long run.
Better fuel efficient cars, drive slower it will save you on gas usage. Well we all know where that ended up. I don't even want to go there.

Buy better enery efficient appliances. Okay. Tell we why again? What happens to the cost of energy when our cap expires in, is it 2010?
Use water preciously. Don't waste water while brushing your teeth, always try to do full loads of laundry. Well, after reading Saturday's 5-10-08 story that York Water Co is probably going to raise our rates because consumption is down. Hello!!! Yep being punished by listening to the "people" who tell us to consume less. And I love how they justify for the increase. Front loader washers, and not watering your lawn in the late winter. What the?
Well I'm done listening and trying my best to do my part. I'm being punished anyway by having to put more of my hard earned money on higher costs of everything.
I may as well do the crime and drive like a fool, leave all the lights on, don't get those new energy efficient things and oh yeah maybe I will start watering my lawn in "late winter"
