Speak up now
Govenor, Mayor or Dictator: A governor or mayor are elected to protect people's rights, all the people. This includes the right to the pursuit of happiness and if that happiness includes lighting up a cigarette any where, anytime and if you say no he can't, you are infringing on his right to his or her right to the pursuit of happiness.

Smoking is older than this country. To stop smoking will eventually put tobacco stores out of business and even tobacco companies. It seems to me someone should tell our Pa. Gov. and mayor the country's unemployment stats and tell them our nation cannot afford to lose any more business or unemployed voters. These acts are bordering on the act of a dictator, not as a Gov. or mayor. Yesterday it was the Lord's Prayer and Bible reading in our schools. Than the 10 commandments and today, smoking.
Folk of the state of Pa. and the city of York must, while you're sitting here wringing your hands, ask yourselves what they are planning to ban next. Do we live in a free country or a dictatorship? How many more things must be banned before the people wake up and in one loud voice say no more bans on our right to pursue happiness?
The taxes we the people pay, pay these people's wages, which means they work for us, not the other way around. Why aren't these two men trying to stop crime and take drugs off of the streets and creating more jobs and leave smoking alone? What a private citizen does and where one does it is no else's business but their own, as long as they are within the law. An unjust law that does not consider all of the citizens has no place in our laws. Speak up now people, for tomorrow that too may be against the law. If they took the above mentioned things, than freedom of speech is just a small hop for them.
