Tolls to drive I-83 next?

Would Rep. DePasquale vote to toll I-83 next?

Our state representatives seem to have lost touch with reality. They do not understand how difficult it is for the average family to stretch their paycheck in order to pay for basic, everday necessities like gas for their cars. With gas prices topping $4.00 a gallon, it is impossible for us to get ahead.

The situation is made worse by the fact that House Democrats voted to impose additional transportation taxes on us. Last year our state representative, Eugene DePasquale, voted for a plan to toll interstate 80 and raise tolls on the turnpike.

By advocating for new and increased highway tolls, Rep. DePasquale and his House Democrat leadership, are taking more and more of our hard earned money. I would not be surprised if he wanted to toll I-83 next.

We are already being taxed out of our homes. Now they want to tax us off our roads. How does Rep. DePasquale expect us to pay for all of his taxes?

That's why I am supporting Lon Emenheiser for state representative. Lon has taken a pledge to vote NO to all new taxes, tolls or fees.
