Absolute lunacy
When will the United States government stop stealing money and resources from it's United States citizens and handing them out all over the world. The United States needs those same funds and resources right here within it's own borders for use by it¢s own citizens. America does not have to try to save each and every underpriviledged or developing country in the world. There are starving and homeless right here in our own back yards and city streets.
The U.S. and the United Nations World Food Program together have promised $117 million in food and agricultural aid? What about our own hard-working farmers who have had their governemnt subsidies cut in recent years by the same mad men who hand out United States resources like jelly beans? According to the article, food and aid the U.S. has been trying very hard to deliver to this blatantly unappreciative country has been delayed by criteria that the U.S. is being blamed for. Talk about a slap in the face. Bring that food and other aid right back here to the U.S.A. and distribute it where it should be distributed and stop all this horse's back-end business of trying to help people who don't even want the help.
Our tax dollars should be going to run the U.S., not all the other little countries around the globe and I'd be willing to gamble there are hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizens who would agree.
