Clueless
In response to the letter on 7/12/08 "Misplaced Priorities," the writer does not have a clue about how war becomes legal. He states that the Iraq war is illegal. It is not. The war was authorized by a vote of congress to approve the use of military force in Iraq. This makes it legal since only congress can make a war legal.

Also, the writer states that the issue of Homosexual Marriage is not a priority issue in the Presidential election. It is one of the most important issues in the election since it is a moral issue which could destroy our society. Just look at history and you will see how the Roman empire was brought down by immorality.
One other thing, the Bibilical writings existed centuries before the Catholic Church ever came into existance.The Old Testament has everything to do with Christianity since it fortells the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Get off this "homosexual marriage is the most important issue" crap! I'm not for gay marriage, but we have far more important issues!
