No evidence of wrongdoing

| | Comments (0)

Where's the crime? Where's the ethical violation? Once again, the York Daily Record/Sunday News is trying to create news rather than report it. No where in its articles regarding Attorney General Tom Corbett's campaign activities was there one shred of evidence that there was any wrongdoing. Yet, the story made it into the headlines. Only later was it acknowledged by the editorial board that there is no evidence of wrongdoing.

So, why impugn the Attorney General's reputation through innuendo? Why drag his administrative assistant's name through the mud for legally being reimbursed $17? There is no good answer to these questions, except that the reporters and their management are Woodward and Berstein wannabes who are more concerned with circulation rates than basic decency.
