Argento, long winded
I'm writing in response to the column by Mike Argento on Sunday, July 27th. He began by mentioning the latest political T.V. ads. Then, as always, he fell into an extremely long winded attempt at humor by berating Starbucks' Baristas in the cheapest stereotypical way possible, finally landing head and shoulders above those who serve coffee for a living.
The only difference between "Him" and "Them", is when I order coffee at Starbucks, I get a pleasant person or people giving me exactly what desired. When I read the news, I get exactly what I desired, until I've read 1/3 of Mike Argento's column, when my rapidly increasing disinterest and blank stare force me to turn the page. In short, Baristas do their jobs well and Mike Argento couldn't suck a laugh from a helium filled balloon.
