Lunatic society

| | Comments (1)

Is ours a lunatic society or what? We are paying more per gallon for gasoline than at anytime in history. Everybody is complaining. Fingers are pointing.

But take a drive on the interstate from York to Harrisburg or from York to Baltimore and keep your cruise control at the legal limit of 65 mph or 55mph. You will overtake very few vehicles. 90% of the traffic will fly by on your left at speeds of 70 mph or 80 mph, ignoring the fact that each 10 mph reduction in speed saves more gasoline.

Meanwhile, these compulsive speeders are crying out for immediate increase in oil drilling (Drill here! Drill now!) - even in areas where natural wildlife habitats are endangered--oblivious of the fact that drilling now will not produce the substantially large supply of gasoline desired until 2018, after either John McCain or Barack Obama would have served two terms.

Makes us look like we are one big nuthouse.

we enjoy getting to work an 1/2 hour early and comming home also
people also drive cars way bigger than needed for just one person comutes
my car got 30mpg now it gets over 40mpg
i added a gas saving chip increase by over 30%
most of the time i drive 83 at 65 mph maybe alittle faster
just remember gas is cheaper here then in alot of other places in the world
take europe for example ( they do not use unleaded gas at all just regular leaded gas )
EMAGINE THAT THE REST OF THE WORLD IS BURNING LEADED GASOLINE HAHA WE DIDNT MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN LEAD EMISSIONS AROUND THE WORLD AT ALL.
