So much hatred

I don't know why Mr. Zeigler feels the way he does, but I really don't think he thought it through before he mailed his letter. There are so many reasons women end up being single parents that to lump us all together in one category is unfair.

Many women start out as married and through circumstance end up divorced with children to raise. I happen to be one of those women, and I have done my best to raise my son to be a responsible, productive member of society.

Since you seem to have such obvious hatred for single mothers, how do you feel about the fathers who divorce women and then do not take responsibility for their children? There are women out there who are owed literally thousands of dollars in back child support, but I don't hear you screaming about that.

Why don't you do something productive with all that anger and help change/enforce the child support laws that give men the right to own homes, cars and other property while owing massive amounts of child support. A man can get a home loan because his back child support does not show up on a credit report, but if that single mother misses payments of her bills because she is not getting what she should, that shows up on her credit report and can effect her efforts to not only get loans, but to get a decent job to support her children.

So before you continue to go off on single mothers, you might want to get your facts straight! Hopefully after reading some of the letters that have been printed in response to your letter will open your eyes to reality! Because you obviously do not live in the real world!
