VP pick troublesome
As most Americans know, John McCain would be the oldest first term President in America's history if he should manage to prevail in November. For that reason, his age and health have come under some scrutiny. McCain has had some history of health issues and yet he has not released his full medical file. That has raised concern among many voters who wonder if he's hiding something. Will he be up to the job - physically and mentally - for a full term?
For that reason, I find his selection of a Vice President particularly troublesome. One would think that he'd want to reassure the public that should his health fail, we'd have a capable person just a heart beat away. Instead, he has selected someone as politically inexperienced as he could find. Two years as governor of one of the least populated states in the union!? That sure does not give me comfort.

Meanwhile, he has had the audacity to criticize the experience of Barack Obama. Three of the last four Presidents (Reagan, Clinton & Bush) had been Governors - never having any federal government experience - but at least having spent a couple terms in their state's Governor's mansion. By contrast Obama has had years in the Senate. Biden even more. Bottom line: all the attack by the McCain campaign on Obama's experience has turned out to be nothing more than desperate rhetoric that simply does not stand up to scrutiny.
And if he thought that picking a woman was his answer to attracting former Hillary Clinton supporters, anyone can see that Sarah Palin is no Hillary!

Hey! Do you believe what you write? Obama’s years of experience began when he became a U.S. Senator in January 2005. On February 10, 2007 Obama announced his candidacy for President of the United States and has been campaigning ever since. That gives him TWO YEARS of experience. On the other hand Sarah Palin served two terms on the Wasilla, Alaska city council from 1992 to 1996, and then won two terms as mayor of Wasilla from 1996 to 2002. In December 2006, Palin was sworn in as the governor of Alaska. And don’t forget Carter was also a Governor along with Reagan, Clinton and Bush. I don’t see your connection with SENATOR Obama, What point are you exactly trying to make? Put down the Kool-Aid and smell the coffee my friend

Obama, experience? That's a joke. And thank God Steve, she is no Hillary, she is a real person, not a fake that only cares about herself and lies out the you know what. But the Dems, as much as they say they love woman and minorities, they do so only if they are liberals.
