Avillo's remarks
Re. Phil Avillo's remarks saying Rep. Platts must take immediate action, what could Rep. Platts possibility do as one Congressman? Explain Mr. Avillo what you would do other than vote with the failed leadership you referred to. Last time I looked we will be getting change in Wash. since President Bush is not running & John McCain will be elected. As for the failed leadership in Congress I could not agree more as Majority leader Harry Reid & Speaker Nancy Pelosi are failed leaders.

Here's what I expect one man to do. Todd Platts has been in the Congress for years and in the majority with a Republican President. In the last two years, he has been in the minority but has he stood up and vocalized the problems? Has he done anything to prevent this chaos?
One man, standing up, instead of being a stooge for Republican policies can do a great deal. Platts better go home and make some of his mom's fudge because there are going to be a lot of people needing food. Congress mired in partisanship helps no one. We need a man who can do what's needed and so far we've only seen Platts whine. He has lived off the taxpayers his entire career; it's about time he did something for us, and the best thing he could do is retire with his taxpayer provided benefits.
