Congress should pass bailout
In my opinion, the congress should have voted for this bill. Why? Because, this was not a bail out for the wall street, but rather the main street. Off course, the problem is created by the wall street as the current administration did not keep eye on the wall street greed and republican leadership always pushing for deregulation - hands off policy on industries. This is what we get by deregulating! The bail out is misinterpreted and sold to congress and public as bailing out for the wall street.

Remember, the current administration and republican leadership wanted to privatize Social Security, so people can invest in market to get better return! Also, they have always argued to have tax breaks on dividend income and capital gains as every one has investment in wall street. So, what this bail out would do? Would not help main street? Don't we all including businesses have investment in wall street? Our pension money, 401-k, IRA and so on. So, would not this bail out is for Main Street?

If banks need money then let them raise the interest rates on deposits. That is how it's suppose to work. We're not suppose to hand them money. They wouldn't hand it to us!
