Do your homework

In reference to the Friday September 26th letter written by Charlotte Lindskog, I say Ms. Lindskog, please check your facts prior to making recommendations for reading to the general public. Not everyone has the time to fact check prior to taking the recommendations of others, so are often mislead, as in this case.

Jerome Corsi's book "The Obama Nation" has been blasted as containing "many themes that are reworked versions of chain email smears" according to Factcheck.org in it's September 15th analysis. The same analysis states that Mr. Corsi, is "a renowned conspiracy theorist who, to paraphrase, said there is evidence that the World Trade Center was seeded with explosives".

No matter how entertaining you may personally find this diatribe Ms. Lindskog, it is not factually accurate and as such not relevant. You do a disservice to the public by misleading those who do not take the time to verify.

As such, I encourage every person of voting age to use internet sites such as Factcheck.org and snopes to analize statements made by all political candidates, as well as statements referenced in letters to the editor, and elsewhere. If you don't have a computer, go to the library. If you are not computer literate, ask a friend or family member with access, to research for you. You have a right to know what is the truth, and not what others wish you to believe is the truth.

Do your homework and then vote your conscience.
