En route

Posted by Kate Penn

My little Toyota Yaris has racked up a lot of miles traveling to assignments around the county. I plug in my gps and an undetermined amount of time later, voila! I’ve reached my destination. But every now and then I get sidetracked by something I just can’t drive by without taking a picture. Driving to a shoot in Wrightsville today as the sun was setting I was hit by the beauty next to me. I pulled off into Kline’s Run Park and hoofed it across the road to take this. This photo is not a prize winner by any means. But it’s pretty and it made me happy for the moment. I never regret stopping to take a picture. But if I don’t stop it nags at me wondering if I missed a great shot.

PSA: Don’t let nagging get you down. Stop, and take your shot.
