First to welcome

Jack Barbor, of York Township, who began attending Asbury United Methodist Church in 1945, is the first to run up and greet the Rev. Yvette Davis during a social after worship at the York church Sunday. Davis will be the first female and the first African-American pastor in the church’s 230-year history.
