My father’s father was a decorated World War I veteran, for the German army. During World War 2, he worked for the experimental division of Grumman and helped design the machines that blew up the German army… And so it intrigued me to see the young face of a William Penn JROTC cadet about the same age as my grandfather in that great war against the World War 1 memorial.
