Link Wray, rock guitar icon, has died. Read the Washington Post obit here.
Among those who try to make pleasant noises with the guitar, Wray was one of the giants. His big hit was the instrumental "Rumble," a menacing, scary bit of music.
RIP, Link, RIP.

Also, Chris Whitley died Sunday 11/20/05. Not quite as iconic as L.W. but still a sad note.
