The story makes no mention that Frist, when he was a medical student, used to adopt cats from shelters to practice surgery on -- something he wrote about in his autobiography.

On the other hand, considering Frist's performance during the Shiavo affair, offering a completely bogus diagnosis by watching a few minutes of videotape, I don't know whether I'd want the guy operating on my gorilla.
