John McCain has picked first-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate. Palin is 44, 28 years younger than McCain.
As one commenter of the snarky Web site Wonkette said, "It's not the first time McCain has chosen to go with a younger woman."

Washington insider who wants to do what's right for her country. And, if we play our cards right, she's going to be our first female president in 2012. Yeah, unfortunately some McCain supporters are like that. But honestly why pick on Palin's lack of experience when Obama barely has any himself?
Experience or lack of is not the issue. If mcCain thinks we women are stupid enough to vote for him because he picked some unknown former mayor of a town in a remote section of the US, it just shows that he has no respect for our intelligence, and of course that is the republican mindset. Kick butt OBAMA...put all the Racists in this country out of commission....because that is what they look at skin color, not character, they make up lies, and worship hatred...this country is a melting pot....not a white man's world.
