The moment it was announced that Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States, Dennis Buchanan leapt from his chair.
Tears were in his eyes.
"I just want to cry," Buchanan, 52, who is black, said. "Praise God. This is the best."
He knew going into tonight that Obama had a very good chance of winning. But the reality clutched his heart.
"It's beautiful to see this," he said. "It's very emotional."
