The New York Times reports on the work being done by researchers to decipher the chattering of chimps, seeking clues about the evolution of human language and communication.

Researchers have observed monkeys in the wild for two decades to learn that their chattering does contain the elements of rudimentary communication.

Funny. They could have learned the same thing watching half an hour of Glenn Beck's show.
