Once again, if you insist on having a gun in your home, lock it away. Keep it unloaded and store the ammunition away from the weapon. Use a trigger lock.

More often than not, we hear from advocates of gun ownership that keeping a gun in your home makes you safe. More often than not, it doesn't.
