One of the things that irritates me -- among the many things that irritate me -- is that I have to take my shoes off whenever I go through security to board an airplane just because some moron tried to set his Nikes on fire a few years back.
At the time, I did say that he least we can be thankful that he didn't try to set his underwear on fire.
Oops.
