Say what?

Who says NBC can't do drama anymore?

The whole thing with jay Leno and Conan O'Brien is pretty amusing to watch. Lots of drama. It's interesting that on Tuesday, Conan issued a statement addressed to "The People of Earth," saying he wasn't planning to move.

Like he has a lot of say in the matter. NBC has treated Conan terribly, moving him across the country and then undermining his show. And Leno, well, that was a disaster.

Anyway, reading the story about the drama, I was struck by a statement made by some media analyst who said it doesn't make sense for NBC to try and hold Conan to his contract.

"An unhappy comedian is not a good premise for a program," the analyst said.

I don't know. It's worked for Letterman.
