Teddy Pendergrass, RIP, brother.

Soul great Teddy Pendergrass, a Philadelphia native, has died. He was only 59.

He came to fame as a member of Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, one of the great soul groups that came out of Philly and help define The Sound of Philadelphia. Read the Philadelphia Inquirer obit here.
