Thank God.

McCain calls us my friends. Says American needs a new direction. What is he campaigning for Obama now?i

He's pretty much begging now. There's an edge of desperation in his voice.

Country First. He threw that out the window when he picked Palin.

Obama: Policies of last eight years and so on and so forth, failed policies and failed whatnot...

The problem is, by now, we've all heard this before. Well, all of us except for those undecided voters CNN locked in a room in Ohio.

McCain tells Obama when they shake hands, "Good job. Good job. Good job."

I think Obama convinced McCain to vote for him.

Here we go

Schieffer is asking about dirty campaigning.

Here we go.

Asking them to say to each other's face what they've said on the campaign trail.

McCain says it's Obama's fault because he refused to do 10 town hall meetings with McCain.

Says the campaign has taken many turns he regrets.

And he's done most of them.

Slamming Obama for John Lewis' remarks. I'm not sure what Lewis says.

Now, says he's going to run a truthful campaign.

How can he say that with a straight face?

Obama's turn. Says 100 percent of McCain's ads have been negative. McCain says, not true.

Um, it is, according to independent studies.

Obama takes the high road. The American people don't want to hear this crap. Says he doesn't mind being atttacked. Let's talk about the economic crisis.

McCain's own campaign said it had to change thye subject from the economy or they would lose.

McCain says he watched the Cardinals beat the Cowboys, pandering to the Cowboy haters among us.

Joe the Plumber is back. He's talking to Joe the Plumber.

McCain sounds like he's trying way too hard

Just an observation, but he seems to be trying hard, Good for him.

He tells Obama, "I'm not President Bush. If you wanted to run against President Bush, you should have run in 2000."

Something to waste time while awaiting the debate...

Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin during the debate:

I wonder what Joe Biden did for the talent portion.
