Troy Mandaloniz
The show opens with Mac Danzig talking about last week's match between Team Serra fighter Richie Hightower and his Team Hughes teammate Blake Bowman: "Blake got tossed around the cage by a little turd with a mohawk."
Serra is reveling in another win, saying, "I know somebody who's feeling worse than Blake right now. His first name is c--k and his last name is head," referring to his nemesis, Matt Hughes.
Then we have Danzig getting mad at Bowman after they watch the finale of TUF 5, where Danzig's friend Andy Wang is defeated by Bowman's buddy Cole Miller.
Danzig later runs down Bowman, saying he's not a real fighter, blah, blah, blah. I mean, what is he going to do, attack Bowman, who has one leg in a splint?
Team Hughes fighter Paul Georgieff then learns that his cousin, 19, has just died. Dana White allows Georgie to leave to attend the wake and funeral, but tells him he has to fight first. WTF? Where do you think Georgie's head was at? Definitely not in the fight, but more on that later ...
Hughes to Georgie: "I have to have a win out of you. Have to."
The fight is set: It's Georgie against Troy Mandaloniz. Hughes thinks that Georgie will submit Troy.
Matt Hughes' trainer, whose name I don't know, tells Georgie, "You know you're gonna get punched," to which Georgie says, "I just don't like getting hit. I'm going into an engineering profession after this. I like to minimize damage, you know?"
Later, we have Danzig back at the house; I tell ya, the guy is deep. He's a vegetarian, he hates it when people kill flies, and he's very supportive of other fighters, like Georgie. But then you see him going on about Bowman, calling him "peg leg" and "freak."
Huges then meets with all the fighters, after hearing about Danzig and Bowman's spat. He tells them they're on a big stage being on a reality show, and they need to put forth a positive image.
The guys on Team Serra say that Danzig is a miserable jerk, so they draw a caricature of his face on a plastic milk jug and then do some chop-socky on it.
We have emotional moments from Georgie, who says he hopes his deceased cousin is in Heaven watching the fight, and Troy, who says, "I fight for the people of Hawaii, I fight for everybody who loves me ... and the ones who doubt me."
The fight: Georgie fires some jabs and leg kicks, Troy throws some punches back, and Georgie jumps guard on Troy, pulling him to the ground. From the bottom, Georgie tries a triangle, then goes for a kimura.
Troy backs off, stands up, allowing Georgie to stand up too. Troy then knocks Georgie out with a hard right hand. That means Team Serra is up 4-1. If Hughes loses the next fight, they lose control in picking fights - it will all be up to Serra.
Hughes is mad. "It wasn't the game plan to go slug it out with him," he tells Georgie.
Serra has more encouraging words, saying to Georgie, "You'll be back ... We all fall and we get back up and become champions."
Later, Serra says, "The stats 4-1. We're beating his ass. Ouch."
