In the upcoming episode, Griffin plays the role of Mike Kona, an "ultimate fighter" who becomes a suspect in the death of a teenager. The easy-going and fan-friendly Griffin actually plays the role of a "bad guy," we're told. Guest star Coco (the wife of cast member Ice-T) plays Griffin's girlfriend in the one-hour episode.

"SVU" ("Special Victims Unit") is the highest-rated version of the popular "Law & Order" series. The "SVU" version of the show debuted in 1999 and nows airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Griffin has previously dabbled in television while doing a variety of spots for Spike TV, which recently renewed a television deal with the UFC. Griffin and former castmate Stephan Bonnar hosted the Spike TV special "The 25 Tuffest Moments of All Time" last month.
