Mark Jovich, coach at the Central Pennsylvania Martial Arts Academy in New Cumberland, sent me this news release on an upcoming amateur MMA event on November 10th in East Durham, NY. Jovich is bringing eight CPMA team members there.

Each fighter will be in a 4-man tournament for their respective weight class and will have two fights. If they win the first, they advance to the finals. If they lose the first, they fight again for either 3rd or 4th place, Jovich said.

Team CPMA fighters:

Toby Crouse 135lbs Red Lion, PA
Justin Scott 145lbs Dallastown, PA
Shea Banks 150lbs Dallastown, PA
Michael D’Addario 155lbs Toms River, NJ
Jason Getts 160lbs Hanover, PA
John Tassone 165lbs York, PA
Ian Banks 175lbs Dallastown, PA
Chad Strawbridge 195lbs Red Lion, PA

“We have put together a solid team of well prepared fighters from across Central Pennsylvania and New Jersey to compete in a unique type of event for a great cause (Kids).”
-Mark P. Jovich
