Phil "Mr. Wonderful" Davis - haven't hard that nickname since Paul Orndorff - won his amateur MMA debut at the House of Blues in New Jersey at a New Breed Fighters show a couple weeks ago. Davis was a Penn State All-American wrestler and has joined LionHeart Fighters, a new MMA gym located just outside Penn State's main campus.

According to LionHeart's Web site, the academy also has signed Louis Armezzani, who at one time trained at York Mixed Martial Arts Academy, and UFC The Ultimate Fighter veteran Paul Bradley.
