As always, the York Mixed Martial Arts Academy was present at yet another Pennsylvania State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation tournament hosted by Rogerio "Tatu" Taborda. The event was held this weekend (Aug 16th, 2008) in Scranton at its normal Spectrum location. Many schools, teams and affiliations were present such as: Team Tatu, Alliance, Renzo, RGDA, Tatu/York Mixed Martial Arts Academy. Here are some final results reported by George McGinnis.

Wayne Schaffer: 1st Place - Mens / Seniors Light Weight - White Belt Division
Tom Fleming: 2nd Place - Mens / Adult Heavy Weight - White Belt Division
George McGinnis: 2nd Place - Mens / Middle Weight - Blue Belt Division
Brad Souders: 3rd Place - Mens / Middle Weight - Purple Belt Division
Steve Johnson: 3rd Place - Mens / Adult Super Heavy - White Belt Division
