CNBC just did this big thing on MMA called “Ultimate Fighting: From Blood Sport to Big Time.” Although I haven’t seen all the videos, it looks like a pretty admirable job. Not to quibble, but they probably should have used Mixed Martial Arts instead of Ultimate Fighting (as I’ve complianed hbaout numerous times on this site), but, on second thought, it seems all they talk about is the UFC, so maybe I’ll let them slide. … Anyway, it just goes to show, money talks. The sport is now a big money-maker, so it finally is garnering some respect.
