Ultimate Warrior Challenge: Beebe vs. Easton

A little analysis of this fight: Beebe, known as “The Rage,” is 11-3, fights out of Matt Hughes’ Hit Squad, and has lost his last two fights, both in the WEC, to Will Ribeiro by decision and to Miguel Totrres by submission. He is a two-time former WEC bantamweight champion.
Easton, known as “The Hulk,” is 5-1, fights out of Lloyd Irvin’s team in the Virginia-Washington, D.C. area, and won what I would consider a controversial split decision victory in his last fight over John Dodson.
Looks like we have a classic striker in Easton (although he trains with a world-class BJJ black belt in Lloyd Irvin) versus a wrestler in Beebe. In the video, one of Easton’s trainers talks about conditioning him for five rounds, since it is a title fight, and could possibly go the distance. Easton’s gone three rounds twice, but Beebe’s gone five rounds twice.
I see Beebe looking to grind out a unanimous decision, working take-downs and ground-and-pound, while Easton will try to end the fight early with a knock-out.
Tune in to Man ‘O’ War, which will be streamed live on Sherdog Feb. 21 to find out who gets the Ultimate Warrior Challenge’s bantamweight belt.
For all you guys local to the York, pa. area, the event is less than two hours away at the Patriot Center at George Madison University in Fairfax, Va. For information on tickets, go to UWC’s Web site.
