Ty Krebs vs. John Tuxford

| | Comments (0)

Two heavyweights go at it at the Central Pennsylvania Warrior Challenge. Apparently, two of Ty's opponents for this fight backed out, so Tuxford was the third guy matched up with Ty. Tuxford weighed in at 260, while Ty was 211. Just hours before the fight, I witnessed Greg Sirb, executive director for the State Athletic Commission, ask Ty if he was still willing to take the fight. Ty did not hesistate. And just for the record, the fight was within the weight class - both guys are heavyweights - it's just that Sirb wanted to be certain Ty was game since there was a big gap in weight. Unfortunately, the fight ended with Ty suffering a broken nose early on. Props to both fighters for gettin it on - let's see a re-match!
