It's the Pitbull vs. The Grim on June 6 at the Lawler vs. Shields event. Now this is an example of great matchmaking. Arlovski is coming off a devastating loss to Fedor at Affliction: Day of Reckoning. Some pundits have argued that before Fedor launched the fight-ending punch, Arlovski was getting the better of "The Last Emperor," with his longer reach, and improved boxing and footwork. So, can Arlovski overcome that loss and get back to the shape and mindset he was in prior to the fight?
Rogers is coming off a TKO win in the second round at the last Strikeforce event and is undefeated in nine fights. The thing is, Rogers has never faced anyone of Arlovski's caliber, never fought anyone with close to the reputation that Arlovski has. It could be he's ready to make that leap, or we could see his first defeat.
