Fresh off of his choke-out victory over Josh Wright, Tattoo Fightwear fighter Matt Bentley will be in possibly the biggest fight of his career so far on Sept. 18 as he fights on the card at Monte Cox's Adrenaline MMA IV.
Adrenaline MMA, whose last event saw Tim Sylvia fall to former boxer Ray Mercer, will hold its fourth event at the Mid-America Center Council Bluffs, IA. Sylvia will look to rebound from the emabrassing loss to Mercer by taking on Jason Riley (6-1). The co-main event will feature Houston Alexander vs TBA.
An email from Bentley to Larry Novak, owner of Tattoo, says that Alexander "is still with the UFC but was granted this fight out of the organization to get back to his winning ways." It would really suck if TBA pulled off the win - I'm not sure the UFC would be interested in taking him back, considering the way they've been cutting LHWs.
Here's another bit from Bentley, who is a 2x IKF National Muay Thai Champion:
"This is going to be a huge event and is in the Omaha area. I'm very excited to be fighting for such a big organization especially this close to home. Thanks for the support Larry."
