CPWC IV fighters - Strawbridge, Bastress and Scott

| | Comments (0)

I shot this video last weekend in Red Lion and wanted to get it up as soon as I could, in anticipation of the Central Pennsylvania Warrior Challenge IV on Feb. 19 in Lancaster.

Chad Strawbridge, Duane Bastress and Justin Scott, along with teammate Chad Hoare, who was not able to make it, truly embody the spirit of bushido - generous with their time and knowledge, competitive in their pursuit to be the best, and humble despite all they have achieved.

Much of the credit goes to Mark Jovich, their coach and promoter of the CPWC. Mark's a career Marine and takes pride in shaping the lives of of the young men and women he meets.

During the interview, I talked with the guys about the team approach to what they do. Even though when the cage door closes, it's just fighter versus fighter, all that has come before that point - the training, the strategy, all the way up to the walk-out, is done together. They draw from that strength in numbers, to forge one blade, one warrior.
