I met Jeff a couple years ago when he was the resident BJJ instrictor at Lion Heart in State College. Jeff, a student of Ricardo “De La Riva” Goded, is now in Texas, teaching BJJ classes at Texas Combat Sports Center and Yama-Kan Kajukenbo, both in Austin, TX. On Thursday, Central PA Mixed Martial Arts said n facebook, “Big congrats to our friend, instructor, and mentor Jeff Rockwell for recieving his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!”
Jeff wrote today on facebook:
“Thanks so much to everyone for all the kind words! It all seems very surreal. I really mean it when I say I could not have done it with each and every one of my friends, instructors, and training partners over the years, all over the country. And still SO much to learn! Thank you all so much for being a part of my life and blessing me with your friendship.”
