Koscheck gets win, and a cheap-shot in the face.

From the play-by-play on mmajunkie.com, Koscheck took Daley down repeatedly and then just hung on, classic lay-n-pray. However, what did you expect him to do, stand and trade with a dangerous striker like Daley, when his background is wrestling? On top of that, there was a glancing knee from Daley that Kos reportedly faked as hitting him straight-on, as many thought he did in his fight with Anthony Johnson. So, to many of the fans and Internet-ers, it was a disgraceful win. Then there was this:
“Following the final bell, Daley walked over to Koscheck. Miragliotta didn’t stand in the way, apparently assuming Daley was coming to offer a congratulatory hug. He didn’t, and Daley connected with a left hand. Miragliotta then jumped on Daley and shoved him into the cage and looked as if he was working for a choke. Daley relented his attack and commission officials stayed at the doorstep of the cage while the fighters were restrained.
Koscheck, who predicted the defeat of the hometown Montreal Canadiens in his post-fight speech, was then pelted with some debris from the crowd as he returned to the locker room.”
I’m not sure which is worse. Daley should be suspended, and Koscheck will meet karma head-on when he gets GSP, who is no Paul Daley.
