Rogerio “Tatu” Taborda to hold seminar at YMMAA

My good friend George McGinnis, purple belt in BJJ and owner/head trainer at York Mixed Martial Arts Academy, has announced that his teacher, Rogerio “Tatu” Taborda, will hold a seminar at George’s academy next month. Here are some more details:
From George: Rogerio ‘Tatu’ Taborda / Ronaldo Antonio Carlos BJJ seminar to be on August 21st at the York Mixed Martial Arts Academy, located inside the West Manchester Mall. Technical training will take place from 12pm – 2pm, followed by open mat training andpromotions. Cost is $65 per person.
from bjjheroes.com: “Rogerio is the head BJJ instructor for all of the Tatu BJJ academies throughout the east coast of the United States. He studied in Brazil under Prof. Paulo Guimaraes and Master Jorge Pereira (A Black Belt himself under legendary Master Rickson Gracie).
Rogerio came to the United States in 2000 to start his own academy and to teach the skills he learned from his professors. Rogerio is the founder of the Pennsylvania State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, which is governed by the IBJJF. He has amassed numerous BJJ accolades in Gi and No-Gi grappling and currently holds the rank of 1st Degree BJJ Black Belt.”
Also found a little on Carlos: Ronaldo Antonio Carlos is a De la Riva Black Belt and multiple-time Brazilian National Champion.
