Mike Malast, who owns and runs mma social networking site MMA Melee, is headed to Philadelphia tomorrow morning for the filming of a Jason Statham movie called “Safe” and he’s bringing a photographer with him. The English-born Statham has starred in “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”, “Snatch,”"The Transporter I and II” and Sly Stallone’s “The Expendables.”
Malast wrote, “I was able to get the company logos on the cage floor & corner post for the MMA fight scene so I need someone that can take some nice high res pictures.” Malast got his photographer, so we’ll have to see what they come up with.

Radnor police stood down Monday as an intruder crept into a stately mansion near Villanova University – because it was all for the movie cameras.
Jason Statham, director Boaz Yakin, and producer Lawrence Bender are shooting the thriller Safe, in which Statham spirits a girl from mobsters. Through Tuesday, the trio and a film crew are holed up in the rented mansion, which is on the market for nearly $7 million.
The house portrays New York City’s Gracie Mansion.
Statham – the intruder – wants a face-to-face with the mayor, played by Chris Sarandon (The Princess Bride).
On Monday, Sarandon shot tense scenes opposite Robert John Burke (Rescue Me, Gossip Girl), who plays a police captain. Between takes, Burke explained the tension between their characters. “Ninety people died before this scene,” Burke said.
On Wednesday, the crew heads back downtown to the Westin Hotel to wrap up a bloody gun battle in a banquet room.
