Williamsport fighters Lewis “The Beast” Rumsey and John “Johnny Vegas” Flock are featured on the front cover of Webb Weekly, a family-oriented publication in the Williamsport area.
First of all, I’m psyched that a “family-oriented publication” has decided to cover MMA. Props to Webb Weekly. Also, I’m happy for Team Vicious teammates Rumsey and Flock, who have been giving fans exciting fights inside the cage for several years now.
Rumsey and Flock are mainstays on the PA MMA scene; they were both on the Pennsylvania Warrior Challenge 1 card in April 2009, the first sanctioned event in the state. For Rumsey, it was his 10th amateur fight, having fought in New Jersey promotions before that. He is now 7-7 as a pro, reaching teh big stage in Atlantic City at Bellator 54 late last year. Rumsey’s next fight is on March 16 against Aaron Meisner at MATRIX FIGHTS V.
Flock, whose fans sport T-shirts with the saying “Go Flock Yourself,” went 6-6 as an amateur, then debuted as a pro at age 40. Now 2-0, his next fight is on March 17 at Cage Fight 11 against the 4-0 Richard Patishnock.

even at his next fight, johnny STILL won’t be 40. and the web weekly had him down as 36. why is it so difficult to find out how old a fighter is & print it correctly? i mean, sh*t, i haven’t seen it printed correctly once.
OK, well, looks like I was off by a year. Mixedmartialarts.com has it as 39. Unless they’re wrong … I had heard from several sources that John was 40, and haven’t had a chance to ask him. What’s his DOB, it’s not on his facebook …
